I am a huge fan of the glossy lips so I am really excited for the new lip products coming our way. I bought these two lipsticks from the Maybelline Color Sensational Shine Compulsion range at the end of last year. I was immediately attracted to the rose gold packaging. Unfortunately it scratches easily, you can see it in the photos. I found only four shades in the drugstores, the two that I own, a red and a nude. Sadly, we didn’t get more shades in Bulgaria.
These lipsticks are really pigmented glossy sticks. The shade 55 Taupe seduction is a huge favourite of mine. I don’t have anything like it in my collection, it’s a grey neutral shade. The other colour Spicy sangria is also beautiful but I have some issues with this one. The formulation is soft and very pigmented so it feathers and goes everywhere. This is not an issue with the light shades. Spicy sangria looks amazing after you apply it, but after 30 minutes it’s all over the place. The scent of these lipsticks is the standard Maybelline scent.
I definitely recommend Taupe seduction and I’m really sorry we didn’t get more of the light shades in the range.
