To be honest I am kind of disappointed with myself, because in February I read only two book. I promised to write a reading update every month so here is what I think about them:
I got Estée Lauder Magic Smoky smoldering eyes kit as a present for my birthday. It contains two of the relatively new Estée Lauder Magic Smoky powder Shadow sticks in the shades 04 Slow Burn and 06 Scorched gold and also a mini travel size of the black primer Little Black primer.
I can't wait to watch the Oscars tonight and I keep my fingers crossed for Leonardo DiCaprio and Rachel McAdams. Today I decided to write about a palette I bought because of the last year's Oscars ceremony - Charlotte Tilbury The Sophisticate.
Clinique is a brand best known for its skincare. I've always fancied more their makeup line.
I promised myself that this year I'll post my "What I read this month" regularly. In January I read three books.
The highlighter that Becca created in collaboration with Jaclyn Hill called Champagne pop was one of the most popular products of 2015. I had almost lost hope to get my hands on it.
To be honest I bought Lancome Shine lover mainly because of the packaging. I was immediately drawn to this beauty in white and silver.
I've never been very interested in Max Factor's eyeshadows. When I spotted the Smokey eye drama kit in 03 Sumptuous Golds in the blog MakeupSavvy it was love at first sight. I really liked the colours.
I really wanted to try the new Golden rose matte lipstick crayons ever since I first saw them a few months ago in one of the Turkish blogs I follow.
The posts "What I read this month" are back as promised. This month I am once again late with this post, but you know better late than never.
I really like the NYX Butter glosses and I own four shades.
I was a beauty blogger in December, but now it's time for me to go back to my book posts. The trilogy The darkest minds by Alexandra Bracken is one of my favourites.
Happy New Year! We survived 2015! I wish you joy, luck and health in 2016!
I spent the holidays being lazy. Tomorrow is the first working day so it's time for me to come back to the blogging world.
I won't be writing a post with my favourite beauty products of 2015. Today, however, I want to tell about one of the products that I discovered this year and fell in love with.
After I saw the photos of Vice 4 online I felt relieved, it looked like I won’t be buying any expensive eyeshadow palettes this Christmas. Then Urban Decay surprised us all with their collaboration with Gwen Stefani.
I quite like the L’Oreal Color Riche lipsticks and I’ve used a few of them throughout the years. The collections dedicated to celebrities are my favourite and I always end up buying at least one shade.
Rimmel is a brand that is popular with its lipsticks. When I saw the new The only 1 lipsticks in the drugstore I couldn’t help it and I picked one.
The packaging of the highlighter in the Charlotte Tilbury Christmas range is definitely quite impressive. Bar of gold looks like, well, a bar of gold.
The Maybelline matte lipsticks are finally available in my country. Sadly we got only four shades - 2 reds, a bright magenta colour (I liked this one the most, but I have a lot of similar shades) and a light pink colour (the one I bought).
The Christmas makeup collection that impressed me the most this year was the collaboration between NARS and the photographer Steven Klein. To be honest I wanted everything from it, but I had to restrain myself and got just one product. I chose the single eyeshadow in the shade Stud.
