Just like MAC, KIKO has amazing limited edition collections. KIKO Pearly Kiss balms is one of these collections. It includes seven new shades of the KIKO Kiss balm, but with new aromas and shimmer. I own two of them - 101 Melon and 104 Passion Fruit.
The formulation of KIKO Pearly Kiss balm is the same as the formulation of KIKO Kiss balm, it just melts on the lips. The packaging is also the same. If you haven't read my review of the KIKO Kiss balms you can find it here. KIKO Pearly Kiss balm has shimmer in it, but the sparkles are barely visible on the lips, don't expect crazy glitter.
The shade 101 Melon is an orange colour. This lip balm smells amazing just like fresh melon. This colour is not very pigmented and on your lips you can only see a little bit of shimmer. 104 Passion fruit is a pinky purple shade. This lip balm is very lightly scented. You can see the colour on your lips and it looks very pretty, it has a little bit of shimmer too. I would buy this lip balm just because of the colour. The ingredients in KIKO Pearly Kiss balm are similar to the ingredients in KIKO Kiss balm, it has SPF15.
I am quite happy with the shades that I own. The bad thing is that they are limited edition, but I like KIKO Kiss balm too and you can get it all year round.
