Last year I missed out on the Too Faced mini liquid lipsticks set so this Christmas I treated myself to Urban Decay Sweet Little Vices.
Packaging
The set contains 4 mini lipsticks 1g. each, the same amount that you get with Charlotte Tilbury’s mini lipstick charms (more about it here). It’s a cartoon packaging and it’s a bit too much, but it’s pretty.
The shades
The most interesting thing about these lipsticks is that they are scented.
California Honey is a glittery deep gold, it’s honey scented. The finish is metallized. I quite like this lipstick and the aroma is great. The colour is not for everybody though.
Keep Tame is a neutral shade, sheer finish. I really like this Urban Decay formulation. The lipstick is honey scented. I quite enjoy this one, but it does not last long on the lips. It’s more like a lip balm.
Bing is a bright pink shade, comfort matte finish. This one is cherry scented, it’s a nice scent. The colour looks good on the swatches but it’s not that great in real life. It does not apply evenly and it’s not very pigmented. I wouldn’t buy the full size lipstick.
Red Hot is a classic red shade. It’s supposed to smell of cinnamon but I don’t think it smells good at all. The finish is comfort matte, the colour is pretty and great for the holidays.
In a nutshell
Sweet Little Vices is more like a holiday treat. I really like the honey scent and I hope Urban Decay releases such full size lipsticks. I’m pleased with the set.
P.S. The product is bought with my own money and the opinion is personal.
