I haven't written here in a while. I am still pretty obsessed with beauty and have a lot to share but I don't have the time and enthusiasm for it. This year was definitely not the year of the lip products, we all have to wear face masks after all.
I bought these two lipsticks at the end of 2019. I've always been a fan of the L’ORÉAL Color Riche formulation and I managed to grab these when they were on sale. They are currently on sale (October 2020) in Lilly drugstores so I decided that it's the right moment for me to publish this post.
The packaging and the scent
I love the beige coloured packaging. The scent is the standard Color Riche's aroma. My guess is that they changed the formulation a while back and now the lipsticks are not so heavily scented. I enjoy the rosy smell.
The shades
I like all the colours in the range but I bought only two. No judgement is a darker brown shade similar to MAC Whirl (review here) but not as greyish. No hesitation is my favourite in the range, it's like a darker version of Charlotte Tilbury Pillow talk. I really liked the pink No lies too.
The formulation
These lipsticks are matte but the finish looks more like a satin to me. They don't dry out my lips. It's a good formula, no feathering too.
In a nutshell
These lipsticks are lovely and the formulation is on point. They are often discounted so you look out for that.
