L’Oreal released new lip glosses and of course I just had to buy two. I’ve been using them for a week now and I quite like them.
L’Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss is available in different finishes, you can see the name of the finish written on the cap (I noticed it after I came back home from the store). You can choose between a creamy formula (Cream), shimmery one (Dazzle), neon effect (Neon) and matte formula (Matte). I saw online that there is another finish that is supposed to be extra glossy (Xtreme resist), but I don’t think that I saw it at the drugstore. I really wanted to try some of the matte ones, but there was only one shade available in the store at the moment and I wasn’t a big fan of it. From the testers I understand that there are four matte shades in the range. If you’ve tried some of them definitely let me know if you like them. I ended up buying one of the creamy ones in 104 Mafia gloss and one of the shimmery ones in 206 For the ladies. L’Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss is priced at around 7,49 euro. The product contains hyaluronic acid. The packaging is quite simple and neat looking. You get 8 ml. of product. It comes with a strange looking applicator (the same as the one of the YSL glosses) which to be honest works quite well.
104 Mafia gloss is a bright pink “Blair Woldorf” kind of shade. The Cream formulation is just amazing - non-sticky, feels light-weight on the lips and very hydrating. With the creamy finish you get a good pigmentation. It’s a gloss but you can definitely see some colour on your lips. For a comparison the glosses with the neon finish are not pigmented at all. Another interesting fact is that the two shades that I own have different scents. I don’t know if the different finishes have different scents or every shades smells of a different thing. Mafia gloss has a light sweet scent, something like vanilla.
206 For the ladies is a beautiful shade - peachy colour with pink shimmer in it. This lip gloss is absolutely non-sticky and it’s quite hydrating. The only negative I can think about is that when you wipe it out you’re left with some glitter on your lips. When I wear it I don’t have any problem with it. This gloss smells kind of fruity - it smells of peach.
