I really wanted to try the new Bourjois Rouge Edition lipsticks. I liked a lot of the colours but I bought 18 Violine strass and 08 Rose studio. I find the packaging really cute and pretty but after a few days using the lipstick I noticed that the writing Rouge Edition started coming off. The colour 18 Violine strass looks like a plum colour but there is a lot of red in it and on the lips it appears more like a deep wine colour. There is a shimmer in it.
08 Rose studio is almost neon bright pink. I think I would wear it a lot during spring and summer.
The lipsticks have medium coverage but you can definately build them up to get an opaque colour. I have very dry lips. Bourjois Rouge Edition lipsticks don't dry out my lips but they are not hydrating enough to replace my lipbalm. They last a long time and are slightly glossy. For me Bourjois Rouge Edition lipsticks smell similar to all the other Bourjois lipsticks - not overwhelming slightly floral scent. The formulation is creamy and very easy to apply.
